Unless you want to pay $300, or more. O'Reilly auto parts, has a battery, that is listed for a truck. It is the same size as a OEM, battery, for less than $100.

The battery brand is Super Start 29NF. I have had it,for about 6 months. Works great. I do keep a battery tender,or it,when it is setting.

Interstate Battery has the same size that would fit in the battery tray for under $100.00... 29NF-VHD

I went with the yellow caps - thought it went better with the car than the red ones!
PLEASE invest a few bucks and buy all the shop manuals for your car. Definitely will save you much time and be an education.

The battery at Orielly's,comes with black caps. You might able to replace, with red,or yellow. For 1/3 the price,I think,I would give it a try.

I ordered mine from Battery Central SG29NPP It is a stock appearing battery. I think it looks better with the proper battery in the engine compartment. That being said it took months to get it. It was worth the wait but as I said long time coming.

I too went the Battery Central route and it took forever, at the time. I think now the lead time has significantly improved though.

As far as reliability, this battery has been trouble-free. I do keep a Battery Tender on it, and the battery cut-off switch is kept in the OFF position when the car is on the perch. So far, so good as I enter into the second year with the battery!

I also went with the same battery, I bought mine through E Bay at half the price. I always hook mine into a battery tender . All year around.
