Help Identifying Front Disc Brakes on my 62 Bird

Post by kbuhagiar »

Hello Folks,

I am in the process of familiarizing myself with my new (to me) 62 Thunderbird Convertible, which unfortunately came to me with almost zero documentation. A previous owner performed some upgrades to the brakes and suspension, including front disc brakes and a dual master cylinder.

I would like to identify the front disc brake setup in advance of ever needing replacement parts. I've attached some pictures of my setup in the hope that perhaps someone can recognize its origins. Thanks in advance!

UPDATE:

Here is some more information...

Rotors are 11"
Calipers appear to be GM metric-style (5.5 inches between pins)
Wheels are 15".

Thanks again.
Cheers, Ken

Don't think it is Auto City Classic's as there's appear to be in 2 pieces.
Could be this one but I'm only guessing

They sure look similar...thanks for the tip! They have a website (ABS Power Brake), I'll investigate further.
