Hello Folks,
I really like the look of the accelerator & brake pedal installed on the 1963 Birds, can they be installed on the 1962 Bird without too much difficulty?
Particularly the brake pedal - is it just a different pad, or would I need to replace the entire pedal assembly?
Thanks!

Hello Ken
Were you able to figure out the solution? I have the same question.
Thx

Hello Ken,
Actually I got sidetracked by another project right after I posted this question but I am still interested.

Ken
An ebay search yielded these two pics of brake pedal assemblies.
It looks like the 63 pads cannot be used with the 62 without modification. 62, flat mounting area. 63 two screw holes.

Re: 1962 TBird Upgrade to 1963 Pedals
Ken,
Thanks for that.
I think I'll hold off on the factory pedal conversion for now, but when I think about it again I will check into aftermarket brake pedal pad look-alikes (Lokar maybe?) that match a 63 accelerator pedal but doesn't require swapping out the pedal arm.
