According to the KBB site HP went up to 280hp in 2003, from 252 hp, and stayed there through the end of production. I had an '04. Hosted a dyno lab once. The '04 tested right at 280 hp, at the flywheel. Liked the car a lot. Test drive for a little while. I am 6'0" and thought that was about the limit of comfort of fit.

I am 6'0" also and I agree with you about the limit.
I wanted a 2 seat convertible for years and checked out many but I didn't fit in one until the Retrobird.
