My dash and marker lights went out

Post by lucky0774@yahoo.com »

I have a 1977 Ford thunderbird. The dash and marker lights went out. At first the headlights quit but they came back on. The car had been sitting 20 years. I had the replace the alternator and voltage regulator a few days before they went out. I replaced the circuit breaker and the fuses are good. Can my light switch cause this? I'm having trouble locating a light switch. Are any out there?

From your description of the symptoms, it does seem reasonable to conclude you need a light switch. First remove it, find the part number on it. Then, either look on ebay or at your local parts store. Some auto parts stores do carry these switches.
