Also take note that you have the wrong battery hold down in your picture, from what I can see. There was no bracket at the battery corner but rather in the middle over slung the battery.
In 64 they used a lower clip at the bottom and end side of the battery, which gave more room at the solenoid.

This is a wild shot, but perhaps the roof colour is the stone guard film used on car rocker panels. It has a semi smooth finish, slight texture and comes in black. The decal is 1.625 tall as per the original, give or take a hair of rough measurement just now. I created it to be an exact repop.
I made my units a couple of years back so I do not have my engineering drawings at hand to be exact to a + or - dimension.
Its in CAD so I can redo when necessary.

To my knowledge ALL left side exhaust manifolds had a mounting hole that was threaded. Ford, I do not think would make two different manifolds for air or non-air cars.

From memory and I know on some 64s there was also a bracket that came off of the compressor and mounted to the top of the intake manifold. Some intakes had a threaded hole and some did not, buf had the boss cast in to allow for tapping.

Plus to add to the confusion of 64 and 65 Bird engines being painted an Argent silver on certain cars. Not all were painted Black.
