Yes, or the adjustment is too loose. First step is to check the adjustment, then bleed if necessary. I shall try both.... Thanks all for comments. I sure hope there is not a Chevy Block Motor under this hood.. Is there a number on the 312 block or motor that I can look for? Is the frozen heat riser valve on the right exhaust manifold ok to leave as is? It appears to be open position best I can tell from feel of exhaust...

My right exhaust header heat valve is stuck on my 56 Bird. I assume stuck open as exhaust out tail pipes feel equal flow. Do I really need to do anything with this rusty valve? My 56 TBird power brake pedal has a lot of travel down before getting brake on.?
And I can’t loosen the collar nut on steering wheel post to move wheel in and out? Any suggestions to help? JG
