Re: Power Problem - No power
After having my back side reamed by a t bird club member OFF LINE for a comment I made about a motor paint colour, I am hesitant to post any comments on the forum, but in this case I think i will not get in trouble. The solenoid is wired wrong, if I am seeing correctly in the photo. The car main pow...

Re: Ford rebuilt
Agreed. The question was, if an engine re built is it poss painted blue; which is potentially correct based on info to date. But my input was to concourse rule correct. It comes to a point of what is accepted on show field and what should be accepted, if this car did appear on show field, would it b...

Re: 1966 Hydraulic Wiper Motor Noise
First thing that comes to mind, is that the cable controlling the wiper motor has developed a little slack and not pushing the fluid valve, or allowing the fluid valve to close 100%. As the fluid moves through the valve it is slightly leaking causiny the sound. I would check that first before being ...

Re: Ford rebuilt
The big question is if the car has a reman engine, when was it done. A big issue is the timing. 10 years after it was titled may mean it was rebuilt but the question comes in to PROVE it. DRIVER vs CONCOURSE. A sticky position for the higher ups, but I would think, to show it is, correct facory colo...

Re: Ford rebuilt
I would agree Bob. If the person wanted to go for Concourse, then it would need to be assessed on correctness, (factory correct colour). It becomes a sticky situation as show conditions will set the colour. In the case of a 64/65 you would need to factor in a US car or a Canadian car, for block colo...

Re: Cleaning up rear view mirror
Krubba"s car per his past posts is a 65 unit and the mirror is correct with the rotating day/nite adjuster. 64 s had a toggle style adjuster for day and nite. I believe that both styles are being repoped, for around $50. All depending on how far one wants to restore a car, weighs on denaroes sp...

Re: Forums Upgraded
Brian; so far the new Forum looks ok, with some learning curves on my part, I will have no issues. BUT, just after getting photobucket to run some images for me, I really would like to see the ability to CUT and PASTE from my photo library like I do on other items. Not sure if I am explaining correc...

Re: Possible Holy Grail or maybe close.
Also note, I do not think I will ever use photobucket again, as it really jambed up my computer. Jambed it up to the point of having to wait up to 5 minutes for it to down load any picture that I posted. Or throwing me out of the system, leaving me to re enter the forum. I do know my service provide...

Re: Possible Holy Grail or maybe close.
Well I have the spotlight in my hands, complete with A pillar trim. The trim is convertible style. Now to get it restored. If it is a true spotlight, and no one can prove or identify otherwise, then maybe I do have a PRIZE! I sure would like to confirm first before I even think to drop a $ on resto....

Re: My 1966 ready for pickup
Heard Wyerton Willie saw his shadow, does this not mean winter in Canada or atleast Ontario is over? With temps in the minus teens and wind chill in the minus 20s its not over yet. I KNOW tbird is having a chuckle over the previous comment as he is in the minus 30s odd. This is C* for Canucks. No ma...
