In times past I found that the vibrating contacts within the horn do to oxidize with time and require some love. A little rub with a very fine (1000 grit or more) pad on them works wonders. water pump install

Several years back I had a problem with a pump which I bought new/rebuilt. Be observant (sp) that the short pipe stem between the the pump and the block can leak and again you need to pull it all apart. The rebuilders do not seem to care if the stub pipe is pitted. By the way I just opened 60fore's link on the discusion of silver block colour. Is the colour silver or argent or this there a specific color #. Reason for my inquiry is my 64 block color which is an original Canadian car is a silvery lite green but possibly aged in color motor.

DSO codes

Just a short note of interest. In my library of old stuff and information no where is a DSO exist with a suffix of 7. The maximum is 6. Also a prefix of 7 is Los Angeles or San Jose or Salt Lake City or Seattle. By chance do the cars have original motor blocks painted in a silver grey or silver gree...
