I know that new housings can now be bought but I've seen somewhere a bush and pin made up but i cant find the site again. Does anyone know the site and provide details
Thanks

Last week I put a new radiator core in it so putting the radiator in is still fresh in my mind The radiator has 2 bolt holes facing forward in the bottom. 2 bolts are then screwed into these loosely and then the radiator i...

With the 62 now sporting new lower ball joints and a new tie rod I have examined the brakes closely and found the following: My Detroit Iron shop manual has a photo of the brakes but it is too dark to be any use. Front flexible hoses look near new. Backing plate has no grooves. Front wheel cylinders...

rear brakes
Hi all My 62 Bird has very agressive rear brakes (ever since i have owned it) and it is very easy to lock the rear wheels and come to a screaching halt. It is very worrying that if I ever had to do an emergency stop at highway speed as I think i would spin around. I am going to pull the drums off an...

h A a friend of mine with a 58 Merc lost his ignition recently and the car just stopped - no warning . He had no spark so he jumpered from the Pos terminal of the battery to the coil to get him home.
