Yes invercargill is where Burt Munro is from. The movie did have a bit of creative directing in it. I reckon its a good movie as well.

Hi When i wanted to calibrate my temperature guage got my gas cooker and a pot of water and boiled it I then suspeded the sensor complete with wiring into the pot. I then marked the guage where the meedle pointed 212 degrees F We should also remember that water boils at 212 dec f or 100 deg c at atm...

Raven I agree with you on all fronts, I only have the 12hr clock, the world is travelling too fast and beer is a good idea

A friend once had a terrible noise coming from the power steering pump (so We reckoned) of his 1970 mustang. Replaced pump with a new one and noise still there. Turned out to be ignition coil. Keep running around EVERYHING with the stethoscope

Thanks for the prompt reply My water control valve is positioned in the return hose from the heater core and the water pump. Also in my return hose is a "Y" to connect a hose from the carburettor spacer I will have to access my heater core and see what I have but I don't expect it to be th...

I am recommissioning the heater in my 62 HT
Does anyone have a diagram or photos of where the hoses go.
A picture of the water valve and cable routing would also be very helpful as I suspect mine is not original

Check the flexible lead inside the distributor it might be broken and touching together most of the time and breaking apart occasionally
My friendswife got stranded like this several times in a Mazda - took a while to find it

Hi I had a similar problem with my 62 My problem was with the 2 square head bolts not sitting correctly place tge nuts on the bolts. When you place the chro e ri g on you have to squeeze the nufs inwards. This moves the square head outwards and it clips in .tighten the nuts to lock it in hope this h...
