Do u have the VIN number at your finger tips, to check with the Bird registry ? There may be a chance if you have the Serial number.

If memory serves, body wiring feeding the turn indicators is RED on passenger side and YELLOW on drivers side. With a single wire, and NO grounding wire on the indicators for a 65.

Have you looked under the rear seat or within the seat back springs, or even the carpets for the ROT sheet? You may get lucky and find it and then all the info will be in your hands.

Just make sure you ground the CVR, and not leave it hanging in free air. Also note there was a "Choke" attached to the CVR for radio suppresion.
