You can buy them from any Thunderbird supplier. My go-to is always the Bird Nest based out of West Linn, Oregon.

Re: New Guy, thanks for the add!
Scott is 100 percent right. the minor changes that have been done are easy to correct if you wish, but I personally think it looks great! the wood grain interior makes it "POP".

Re: New Guy, thanks for the add!
Great looking car, this appears to be a 1965 Thunderbird that has had some changes done to it. Fenders, like most have said, are 1964 fenders. Also the wood grain interior should be on a Landau, which came with a vinyl roof and the "S" bar. Is your body code on the data plate a 63A or 63B?

Re: Rebirth of a 64 Hardtop - Part 1
Yes, I think we can all agree that gun metal grey is rare. This is personally the first true "C" I have seen. The Thunderbird Registry currently has 4,383 1964 Thunderbird documented, while some of those we do not have any codes for. We only show 14 cars with the color code "C". ...

Re: 1964 390cui vacuum canister
This is a late reply, sorry. while you cannot get a Marti Report for cars pre-1967. he does have the cars invoice, or gate release as they are called. This will show you everything a marti report will show you. the gate release is Ford's original invoice. The inspector at the end of the line would g...

Re: Rebirth of a 64 Hardtop - Part 1
The term "Special Order" is almost always used incorrectly. This would have had to be a Pre-sold Unit(PSU). PSU means someone went into the dealership and ordered the car with the options and colors they choose. Special Order refers to a car that as something, not was not really available ...

Do you have a pictures of this car's data plate on the driver's door? I do not see any ford document listing "gun metal grey" as a color option.

Production numbers on the "how many" are not available until 1967. the best thing you can do is go to www.tbird.info and look to see.

Thanks guys I am excited. I haven't really messed with it, I plan on switching the ignition switch out this weekend and take it for a test drive to see exactly what it needs. Should be a fun running and driving project!

New-to-me 88 sport.
Bought this a few months ago, and finally got around to getting it dropped off at home. I paid $300 bucks, not to shabby if you ask me!

Re: 1964 T-Bird Electric Windows Stopped Working
The power window relay is the relay on the Firewall. I believe it is on the passenger side on a 1964 but not positive. it is on the firewall for sure though. a lot of times if you have the skills you can clean the contacts on the relay and it will fix the issue. Or you can buy a new one from any of ...

Re: 1966 thunderbird canada show cars
I have built up a working relationship with Kevin and his team, they also take a copy of every gate release they sell just in case the original invoice gets lost. I recently helped a guy over seas get his gate release, he had never bought his but Marti only had a copy. So I am glad they copy these i...

Re: 1966 thunderbird canada show cars
At the end of the day these are just another car. they aren't anything special, just because they have low VINS. If anyone is wanting to scam people they wouldn't make clones of these cars. They won't demand high dollar, in fact 03 was for sale for a long time, with no takers. These aren't like &quo...
