So before the "T" then? I sure don't remember anything else being there other than the vacuum tank & the "T". I'll look again, I must be getting old or something CRAZY like that!!! LOL!!!

I use white lithium grease in the spray can.

So where in all those sections of vacuum hoses is the "check valve" your Bird has? I'm just curious becuase my '60 Bird dosen't have one & it's pretty much "complete/unmolested".

He has had the fed's/EPA on his back last I heard, so it might take him a little while to respond to your email. He is a great guy though & and a true asset to this hobby.

Don't mess with the valve, it is simply a pressure test port the mechanics used back in the day to measure transmission line pressure.

Use D1. D2 is used mainly if you are driving in rain/snow, etc- were traction is a problem.

Could also be a bad speaker....

The Galaxie 500 trim line came out mid-late year in '59. A lot of advertising was done back then with the T-Birds as they shared the same roof lines!!
