I have the yellow one rewired as a stereo Bluetooth speaker set...It can live in the garage now.

I'll wire the car phone the same way.
It'll spend its life on the console playing the theme song from

Re: Convertible top stuck

Thanks for all the feedback and guidance.
I reached out to Barry at certified rebuilders and he was very pleasant and confident. I sent him my switch ... These are complicated, but with support from an online community it seems more manageable.
FYI, I live in Danville, about 25 minutes from Livermore!

Re: Convertible top stuck

Certified Rebuilders remade my switch years ago and I’ve got Andrew Pines solid state relays. It is now as reliable as one of these can be I suppose. Mine was a basket case when I got it. If you work in Concord, where do you live? I’m in Livermore.

I did wire it open. Thinking flap maybe be broken off in side. Since I live in SoCal not really needed. Might just remove and place a spacer in line.

Good choice. You don’t need it in SoCal. I deleted the valves on both the 55 and 57 during the restos. No downside noticed. This was in Anchorage.
