... is not that noisy in colder weather which leads me to think it is having to pump a bit of vapor in this 90+ degree heat.


I've noticed the pump gets noisy when it's pumping against the vaporizing fuel. I believe in my case the bubbles are caused by a heat soaked engine compartment, not an air leak

... Thru all of this are you still running the same tank of gas? No I have been putting 5 gallons in a day because I don't want a full tank in case I have to work on a line

I am now trying the electric pump only by totally bypassing the mechanical pump. I don't really want to run the car on ...

Here’s a MAR 57 build clock that I just got back from restoration at Clock Works. I sent them 2 clocks in case one wasn’t repairable. Since both were good I had both repaired. So, this one is spare to me. $450

Normally I look for NOS or used parts. They tend to fit better. However, in the case of a window regulator I would be cautious. Finding a used left regulator with minimal wear is a challenge.

... they should automatically give the correct height adjustment, unless something has changed, i.e. an accident, top frame damage, etc. If that's the case, you may need to remove the locator screws and wing it with the height adjustment.
