SOLVED THE PROBLEM.I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THE FIRST THING I DID WAS REPLACE THE STARTER SOLINOID.SAME THING NO START.I returned that solinoid thinking that there was another cause,never thinking that the new solinoid was bad as well.BOUGHT ANOTHER BRAND SOLINOID JUST FOR ...

EVEN TRIED A NEW NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH AS THE OTHER WAS OLD,BUT THEY BOTH TEST OK...YEP MOVED THEM AROUND IN DIFFERNENT POSITIONS,AND JUMPED THEM BOTH WITH NO LUCK.I also cleaned every electrical connection I could get my hands on.

Hello ALL I just replaced the old brake drums on my 64 front end.Problem is the new drums are thicker,therefore the original size wheel stud splined /knurled end is to short to fit through the hub and drum.Does anyone know what size stud I should be searching for? thanks spinner

HI GUYS CARS BRAKES FINE UNTIL ABOUT FIVE OR TENS MINUTES HAVE PASSED THEN I GET A VIOLENT SHUDDER IN THE FRONT END.FRONT END CHECKS OUT.I AM GOING TO BE CHECKING THE BRAKE PAD ARCING THIS WEEKEND. BUT IN THE MEANTIME ANY GUESSES WHY IT WOULD ONLY HAPPEN WHEN BRAKES ARE HOT ? ,WHEELS SPIN FREELY.

ahh ok thanks dan42 I see the Y PIPE FOR SALE IN ALL THE PARTS CATALOGS BUT THEY NEVER SPECIFY THAT it is ONLY FOR A/C CARS. THAT CLEARS THINGS UP.
