Wondering if when they replaced the original carb they had to replace the fuel pump, distributor and maybe other things to match the new carb?

I’m reinstalling the original carb. The Holley Carb that’s on it has a pipe from the condenser to the carb. Is that the choke tube?

This tube has a slide on end whereas on the original Ford carb it has a screw on end.

I am new to this. Me and my wife wanted to try our hand at restoring a car.
