I am about to replace my water sender on my 1957 t-bird and my old sender has a slight weeping of antifreeze .I am confused on what i should use as sealant?? I have read posts that teflon tape can interrupt the ground and give you a bad reading on your temp. gauge. I do have permatex high heat seala...

My 1957 tbird after sitting for 6 weeks will turn over and over but will not start until I back off on the ignition switch very slightly and then it will start ?? I checked and the choke is set and the carburetor is full of gas ??? Need advise Thanks Bob Email robertatracy@comcast.net
