Engine swap in a 57
I need your help. I have a 57 with a 302 engine and a c4 transmission out of a 78 fairlane. The engine needs replacing. I am thinking of continuing to use a 302. Only for the ease of installing it to my existing c4. The auto wreckers said that I will not find a 302 out of the seventies at a wrecker....

I am unable to turn my dash lights on in my 57. The light switch operates properly for the headlights etc. when I turn the light switch back and forth it is no longer turning on the dash lights. I may get a quick flicker but you really have to. Search around for the lights to stay on. Has anyone tak...

My 57 came with a c4. The engine is a 302 out of a 78 fairlane. I think the c4 came with it

I have a 57 t-bird with a 1978 302 carbureted with a pointless ignition. It has been running really rough with the engine running at 2000 rpm’s. You can feel the missing and hesitation I have have checked for loose wires. Replaced fuel filter. Inspected distributor cap. I’ll look for a vacuum leak. ...

Fuel gauge quit working
Hello. My 57 third fuel gauge quit working. It doesn’t Regeaters at all. The needle bounced several times and then just quit. I looked under the dash and I didn’t see a fuse. Where should I start first?

Engine
My 57 has a 1978 302 in it. I am currently changing the timing chain. When I undid the front motor mount. The engine moved to passenger side 3 inches. Had to put a sciccor jack on the frame to push it back. I have limited experience with v8 motors. What do you think caused that to happen.

My 57 needs its dual exhaust replaced. My question is to whether run the pipe through the bumper or just end the tail pipe under the car. What are the pros and cons of this thanks for your help

Window washer for 57
I have recently purchased my 57. It does not have a window washer or the washer spouts below the windshield. Do you believe that they simply where removed by someone doing bodywork?
