good advice - i suspect my filter is gone because i did not see anything when i checked the fluid. thanks for the tip regarding the seal i was going to look into a replacement

fluid is foamy and full of bubbles and the chatter could be described as noise as i turn wheel (groan) i do not feel much in steering wheel but a slight vibration

i followed the instruction manual which i thought strange because it tells you yo get system to operating temp. Then says to turn steering wheel both ways thru its full travel 3-4 times with windshield wipers on (which i thought odd). i did all that plus a short ride thru my community and i still ge...

thanks for the tip. however the arm was not broken, it just stopped cancelling. when i removed it to replace with a new one i noticed that on the underside of on that was installed had a tin/bronze plate that matched the one on mt turn signal switch. the new arm did not have that but also was slight...

turn signal cancellation
does anyone know why the turn signal switch and cancellation arm on my 1964 has a tin plate, and what the purpose is? i bought a new arm because my turn signals would not cancel. now i have disturbed something in the column nothing works.Help please

no i mean a switch between the battery and the car so that battery is isolated until i can figure out the drain

thanks - i have replaced all the starting components just because they needed it. would anyone advise a kill switch , because i fear a long duration of time until i can isolate the issue
