I changed the alternator and tighten the belt, but after driving for a while I noticed the belt loose. So, I got under and tighten the belt again and drove it for awhile and again noticed the belt loose. Any suggestion on what is causing this?

Looking for help.

I'm changing out my door panels in my 64 and trying to figure out how to remove the driver side mirror toggle from the old door panel.

I have everything else off but can't figure to remove the toggle and it hardware.
