Re: Tacho install
i actually quite like what you've done there, i wouldn't be in too much of a rush to change it back. Sounds like some major customisation required for anything oem looking!

Valve clearances
Hi,
Does anyone know what the inlet and exhaust valve clearances are for 429 4v ?
Need to remove the rockers and check mine as I have a knocking around 2k rpm when warm.

Taillight bulbs
I have just discovered the 1157dc 27/8 watt bulbs. Are these the original spec or the more common 21/5 watt ones ?!
I want to use these in the tailights to brighten the rear brake lights and they should be more effective.

Re: Sequential turn signals not working?
in the UK we have the twin brake and tail bulb 21w/5w which i have in the taillights but they are quite dull. I see 27w/8w are available in the US. Are these the ones it should have or are they a special bulb for something else ?

The car sits so high that i dont really need to jack it !
Under the engine crossmember should be fine. Or on the sill rail just enough to reach the sump plug.
