Thank you to all replied to my situation, I really appreciate it. I have fixed the problem, it turns out that one of the two connecting plugs at the Constant Velocity Regulator had popped off its prong put it back on and all is good, all gauges are working again. The real pain was getting to the VCR...

I checked out the Electric Schematic and it shows the Fuel, oil and Temp gauges, all show one connection going to the Constant Velocity Regulator, I am hoping its a bad CVR. Installing expansion valve
Hello out there in Birdland!!!!!!!!!!!
Got a 66 428 Towne Landau, and needs a new Expansion Valve installed on the Evaporator Unit, so does anyone have suggestions as to the easiest way to install this Valve. Using 134.
All suggestions will be appreciated.

Paulr, Thank you for your reply, it really helps and is appreciated. So now I know where the blue VAC diaphragm unit is located, Where is the Control Head, behind the console?? A little leary on tackling this process, will take it slow. and Great Pictures really help. Once again , Thank you John T.

This pic shows you your liquid line, low pressure hose, and expansion valve, none of which can be seen because right now they are all smothered in a black cork tape, which has to be removed first, and replaced afterwards.
