Hello all,
Does anyone have any suggestions for after market dual exhaust mufflers that will be really close to stock? Also what mounting method did you use and how did you mount it.
Thanks in advance

63 Muffler dimensions
Hello all,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Does anyone know the length of the muffler for a dual exhaust? I want an after market but need to stay at the correct length. The PO had single exhaust on it.
Thanks in advance.

Gas tank vent tube
Hi Everyone, Can anyone tell me the correct routing and placement of the vent tube coming out of a 63 with the one pice filler neck? The PO only had a 1 inch piece of rubber on the metal nipple and the only diagram I can find does not tell me enough. I need to know how it is routed and what is on th...

Dash Bezel chrome questions
Hello all, I sent my dash cluster and bezel off to for re-chrome a few months ago. I got it in today and would say it looks pretty darn good. Darn good that is except that the guy chromed the entire piece. The only issue with this is on the bezels around the three main bezels there was a satin steel...

63 Sight Glass Rebuild
Has anyone rebuilt the sight glass on the 63 AC? I bought the kit from Classic air but there are no instructions and I cannot find anything online, or in the manuals. I have heard that at the end of the sight glass there is a brass ring that needs to be pushed or pulled out and the glass goes in, th...

Re: Clutch Fan distance
Geoff, So the way I understand it from an automotive engineer is that the fan clutch helps reduce load on the engine during start up. If you think about it, that large 18 in fan gives some serious bang upon starting. Now if we talk thermal vs non thermal that is a little different. At low temps the ...

Ground wire
Hello all, For some reason I cannot find the pictures or the notes I took on where this wire is supposed to go to. If anyone can help it is greatly appreciated. The ground wire on the back of the alternator runs to the body on the drivers side, eyelet connector. From there another black wire with re...

Re: AC Hose
Kiwi, I just did it on my 63, the only way I know to get to it is remove the dash. Once that is removed you can get to the expansion valve and the other line where they connect to the evaporator. While you are there replace the expansion valve as well. I know this is probably not what you wanted to ...

Hello everyone, I apologize if this has been posted already, but I have searched and cannot seem to find the information. Does anyone know the distances below? Currently I only have 3 1/2 inches from the front face of the water pump mounting plate to the radiator, the PO did not have a clutch fan on...

63 Electric Radiator Fan suggestions
Hello all, I am in need of suggestions from has anyone who has installed an Electric fan on a bird with AC? I bought a Derale twin electric fan model 16833 hoping it would fit but the overall depth is 4 1/2 inches. After installing the condenser, and the radiator there is no way this fan is going to...
