I suggest you run denature alcohol through the lines then fresh unopened brake fluid then bleed all of the lines. There could be a chemical reaction with a metal ( Aluminum) fitting that also could be the issue.

The milage on the 53 Customline with a flat eight with Henderson triple duals which gets 6-9 MPG OUCH !

My milage is between 12-14 mpg. When I had the 61 T Bird it was 7-10 mpg.

Store extra condensers in a temp control, The biggest mistake is keeping in the garage with temps fluctuate. Moisture is a killer when it comes to electronics.....

I have done a few experiments with the accuracy of valve lash as well as the “hot or cold” debate. By no means are the results statistically significant nor can I claim accuracy to the .0001”.
