there is a CVU (constant voltage unit) in the system and the fuel gauge was operating correctly. It went only in one direction towards E. I had to do some research on that one. Is there a profile of the seal on the upper shroud? the way its attached to the shroud.
I put my on the way I think it should go, BUT

what material was stapled under the underhood frames?
tar covered hard rubber? for Concours what would Henry Ford put in there?

any ideas and how to install and what material to use on the underside of the hood to assist in sound deaden and support. All the staples are in place and just painted.
would like just to put material in place.
