Sounds like a plan but 5 original spares will be 250 +-years of tire age, I would not go over 10 mph, remember. Remember Ralph's "UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED."

looking at the books I would say Semi Black, need to get the OFS from VTCI store.

there is a CVU (constant voltage unit) in the system and the fuel gauge was operating correctly. It went only in one direction towards E. I had to do some research on that one. The only item that was not replaced was the temp sender because it was operating OK before I rewired. Will be on order. Can...

57 power brakes/ radiator temp
Is there any static test that can be done it ensure the power brakes are operating normally? The brakes stop the car but it seems to take more push than it did before, vacuum is good. On our 200 mile round trip in hot N.C. the engine temp as seen on gauge would fluctuate from normal to H, back half ...

I just removed my after market air and the lines were run just inboard and just below the heater.

Is there a profile of the seal on the upper shroud? the way its attached to the shroud.
I put my on the way I think it should go, BUT
Somebody with more knowledge than my self could do a booklet on these gaskets and seals. How they go!!!!!

INFO needed Does the brake hydraulic system need to be bleed after a brake light switch is installed in a 1957 with power brakes? Also I just installed a new wiring harness, the old harness, brake wires were stiff with broken insulation. The lights work when switch is bypassed. This is the last item...

I am getting a pattern here, seems like canvas is the way to go.
Is the installation the same as vinyl? I can see that it would be easier to fold and store away.

Will be redoing my soft top shortly and would like some input of fabrics, this will be a show driver.
the difference in price not the problem but durability and looks. What are other folks doing? and why?
It will have white top with Bronze body.

Under hood material?
any ideas and how to install and what material to use on the underside of the hood to assist in sound deaden and support. All the staples are in place and just painted.
would like just to put material in place.
