dual MC dilemma

I am almost done with my 65 disc brake swap on my 62. Before I bench bleed the MC, I mocked up this dual MC to my rebuilt original brake booster. https://www.tbirdhq.com/pc_product_detail.asp?key=A01B86BBB7F7444DADF12FE24B40929F ^ This is the brake MC I purchased. When I am installing the MC onto th...

Re: '65ish Spindles on a '61

I'm also researching 65-66 front disc brakes on my 62. Will lower controls from another car work with this setup? Like 65-68 Galaxie for instance.

small surge tank hose

Hey, are these cars suppose to have a separate expansion tank? I have a small rubber hose attached to the filler neck port but it does not attach to anything else. It is just open to the ground on the other end. I checked the shop manual as well as pics online and cannot figure it out. Thanks for th...

Re: 1962 T-bird single to dual master cylinder

Thanks but that link is for the stock MC. If I can't find a dual MC with the flat reservoir cover, I may just keep it single MC.

Re: 1962 T-bird single to dual master cylinder

I am currently searching for the Wagner F64829 master cylinder. I am having the hardest time finding it online. Does anyone have any leads or have a unit they are considering selling?

Thanks guys for the friendly greetings! I am located in the San Francisco Bay Area region of CA so Spain would be quite expensive shipping wise lol. The hankook tires in the link have 3/4" w/w. I plan on purchasing these tires because they are relatively inexpensive at $61 per tire. I just need...

Thanks for the welcome and the info. I did not realize how narrow the rim is. After I get the rim fixed/replaced, I was also in the market for some tires. I was thinking of going 215/75/14. As the current tires on the vehicle are dried up and very old. I was thinking of going with this tire so I can...

OEM steel wheel diameter and width

Hey everyone, I'm a new member here at vintage thunderbird club. I have a 1962 thunderbird landau top. My father left me this car because he retired and moved to the Philippines. I'll get some pics of the tbird posted in the future. Here is my question. I noticed one of the steel wheels are bent and...
