Dual master cylinder
This may have been asked before but I’m wanting to install a dual master cylinder on my 56 Thunderbird and keep all drum brakes. Is there a supplier that offers such a set up? Thanks!

Re: 59 fenderskirts
I will get them out of my storage I’m pretty sure they attach the same way as originals. Give me a day to get them. My daughter is in delivery giving birth tonight Friday. $145 for the pair not including shipping.

Re: 59 fenderskirts
I do have a pair of fiberglass skirts that I never used on my 59. If interested let me know I have to dig them out of storage. They were never installed nor painted.

Re: Clip on wire wheels…
Ventport, I think the guy on YouTube that I referenced not using the rubber bumpers on the spring clips was somewhat incorrect. I wasn’t sure what the purpose of the rubber bumpers were used for, now I think why. One they may quiet the wire ring when driving and they provide a slight gap to prevent ...

Clip on wire wheels…
I am installing the two piece clip on wire wheel covers. What purpose does the rubber bumper piece serve? Saw a video on YouTube and the rubber bumper was not used by the installer due to the chrome ring would not seat flush against the rim and left a good size gap. Thanks in advance !

What is is less painful way to remove and reinstall the Continental kit on a 56? I’m in the process of installing the 2 piece wire wheels on the car. Thanks!

Re: refurbish canvas top
hiampen, You can use the plastic paint drop cloths. These would be easier to work with. I wrapped everything and taped every place that I could see. Side windows and windshield too. Believe me after you are done you will have people asking you if it’s a new top.

Re: refurbish canvas top
Thanks for all the good information. It looks like I can get RENOVO at Amazon, don't think I can get it aound here in rural Alberta. Not sure how I'm going to clean the top as I' afraid to get my car wet. Sounds silly but it's old black paint and almost impossible to get water stains off. Suggestio...

Re: refurbish canvas top
I went to a highly reputable shop and ask the owner. His reply was here was no dye. I had done research for a while and found RENOVO at that time it was only in the UK. Bought it and dyed my top. Looks brand new.

Re: refurbish canvas top
I researched and found a product called RENOVO for my 56 black cloth top. Product is found in the UK for all the rag tops. I checked with different shops and none had any idea and said you can't dye a top. I proved them wrong. You can find the RENOVO product line for just about any color except whit...

Re: 56 Fan blade
Paul, The 3 blade fan fit fine. I picked up a 6 blade fan from Hill's a few years ago and it hit on the underside of the shroud even after doing some adjustments to the shroud. Made a visit to Hill's and they only had the 18" in stock, they said that their fabricator guys made some changes on t...
