Re: 1965 Battery hold down

The plastic top hold down clamp was used on the 66, 64/65 used the bottom clamp to hold down the Ford battery with the bottom ledge clamp on it #27F.

Re: Original Brake Booster Vacuum Line

Re: Using the trunk on a 65 convertible

Sounds from your question that your trunk lid and top operation is not working correctly. If you just want to put items in your trunk when the lid will open with the top up and close without any switches being manually held you will be able to put things in the trunk.

Re: More exhaust questions:

Also remove the clamps and/or loosen as required to be able to move the rest of the system to get the pipe out of the H pipe slip connectors if they are...

Re: Opinions on replacing window motors?

The resistor wires in the 64 to 66. Tbirds are installed from the motors to ground, the rear ground runs from the motor to the driveshaft tunnel and terminates under the console box with a screw into the tunnel metal.

Re: stock exterior mirror mounting questions. '65 T-Bird

The return spring is broken on your remote handle shaft. Replacements are available from one of our sponsoring Thunderbird parts dealers.

Should have also inculed that the replacement part is the complete shaft, mounting plate, and spring.
