so if i'm correct the rivet heads should be facing the radiator,using the last picture as a reference

just wanted to post the fix for the car not turning off,it was the ignition switch.

the ignition switch and solenoid was bwd that i am waiting for hope they hold up,last ignition switch was standard i do remember that solenoid i cant remember what brand i used.

yea i dont suspect any wiring issues the wiring on my car has not been molested at all,seems it would be the ignition switch,or possibly the starter solenoid.

went to start my 66 q code the other day and it was dragging(the battery) put the charger on it and it started no problem,ran it down the road and let it idle for a few minutes and went to shut it down and when i turned the key off it kept running.After a few minutes i covered up the intake to kill ...

the one on the top is exactly what i had bought from bobs although it does not have that 7/8 inch casting on the side.lines are on the inboard side.

in the pictures sent, the vac line for the c6 is connected to the vac port in the carb spacer in the front of the carb

the closer i look at it that port comes out of the carb spacer so i guess it was connected to manifold vacuum. So that port in the spacer was originally for the modulator valve?or should it be connected to something else?

just went outside and checked and the modulator is connected to the front of the carburetor,im going to correct this.Now i need to figure out what should be connected to the carb vac .There is a steel line that comes out of the side for the advance,and right next to it is another port im sure it sho...
