Sometimes rather than quote an entire post, you may want to just pick out a certain picture from a previous post or even from another thread and paste it into your reply. It is a simple 3 step process.
First, right click on the picture and select "Properties". Notice the other options available such as "Save picture as" for saving a picture to your computer for future reference.
Next highlight the URL and right click and select "Copy" or ctrl and c at the same time (ctrl-c).
Last, open an IMG tag and either right click and select "Paste" or press ctrl and v at the same time (ctrl-v) to paste the URL into the tag, then just close the tag.

Thanks for that Tom, could you give the group an example of quoting text from another post? I find some threads very hard to read because the quoted text and the new text are all run together. Please show how to do this
And now y'all know why Tom got better grades in "Moderator School" than I did!
great tip!

That's simple. Hold the right mouse button down and slide the mouse over the text you want to copy. Release the button, the text will be outlined. outlined. Hold the mouse over the outlined text, and right click it, then click Copy. next, click the Post Reply button at the bottom, do not use the Quote button at the top right.
In the reply box, click the Quote button.
In the reply box, click the Quote button.
will appear in the message body. To the right of it, right click, then click Paste. The selected text will appear. After the text, click the Quote button again.

edpol,That's simple.
Simple for you and me, but not others. Lately I have been seeing a lot of completely quoted messages. I think there are many people that are unaware of the quote tag. I went ahead and did a visual as Bob requested.
