Inside Door Handle Escutcheons

Post by Tbird100636 »

I just ordered a repro metal pair from Concours parts. When they came, there was also 2 springs and 2 clear plastic spacers included. What are these for??? I'm assuming the plastic spacers go in-between the handle and the escutcheon, but what about the springs???

The springs go between the handle and the clear/white plastic washers. puts tension on the Escutcheons to keep them from popping loose and hanging down.
