Removing emblems and trim.

Post by BARRY »

I do not have access to my manual so I'm asking. Is the roof side emblem and the front quarter trim ( pic included ) removable without removing interior upholstery and in the case of the front trim the inner fender(s). I seem to recall these are attached differently than say the Thunderbird scripts on the rear quarters, which are not secured by nuts. Any advice? Thanks.Image[/img]

The roof side emblem is held in with 3 pins, it's pushed into place. It may be a little stubborn and will crack if you get rough with it. The 'C' and 'FEATHERS' on the front fenders are held on with nuts from behind. You need to pull the inner fender to access them. Hope this helps, Bob C
It's gonna be cool when it's done
