Terri It might be a good idea to have a short primer for those that would like to put a forum icon on their desktop. That icon is a quick reminder when you look at your desktop to check the forum in a few idle minutes. It takes me one click to get to the forum and one click to log in, a few seconds to check things and I can be on my way. Gregory

Hi Gregory,
 that's a great idea! If you want to try and explain it I will post it where all can find it.........I find there is enough trouble explaining how to sign up for the forum as I continue to get members with problems in that area, maybe you are better at this type of "Primer" than I am.

I will jump in here and explain how to put a forum icon on your desktop..
First once on this site, got to the top of the page to either
bookmarks" or "favorites, depending on what your browser calls them.
Click on it.
Click on "add too favorites/bookmarks".
Click ok.
Now, click on the favorites/bookmarks at the top of the page.
Scroll down to the site you just added.
Right click it and click on "send to".
In the dropdown, click on "send to desktop".
You will now have a forum icon on your desktop.
Bob.

As a new member, I wanted to look through some of the older post to see anything of interest.

I've spent a few winter evenings reading old posts too and there is a lot to learn in them - funny stuff too! Some of you guys go WAY back to the beginning!!! When I bought my 56 Thunderbird in 1976 getting info was so much different. I had to look at parts books or restored cars and take picutes - then wait to get them developed and returned. Now we just search the net. Wonder how much different it will be in the next 40 years??

I don't think there will be many cars around in forty or fifty years.
Technology will be advanced too where we can move about by simply thinking it.
Remember "Beam me up Scotty"?
I think some of you young dudes will live to see that day.
Bob.
