Wanted : 60's vintage Cali lincense plate frame

Post by 60fore »

I guess this isn't a Thunderbird part per se but I'd like to find a plate frame from Walker-Buerge Ford in LA. This dealership sold my car new and still exists on Santa Monica Blvd. as Buerge Ford.

Any leads are much appreciated!

Weird, Gary - I used to have one of these way back when, but I haven't seen it in years, so I'm guessing somewhere along the way it was trashed or given away.
I know I have seen them on Ebay from time to time.
Found this:

I believe this was one of the companies that merged somewhere along the way, so might hold you over until you find a W-B frame?

As a matter of fact, that does appear to probably be the case?

I also would like to find a plate frame or dealer badge for my car. It came from Read-Mullan Motors in Phoenix. I have looked for these on ebay but have never came up with anything related to this dealer. If anyone has any leads I would love to hear from you.
Thanks
A 66 Thunderbird is cool. A Sapphire Blue 66 is a beautiful car. The 428 engine completes the package.
