'05 Special Edition

Post by retro05 »

I had been looking a for a retro for my wife since seeing our first one in spring, 2003. Lo and behold she spotted a SE (cashmere exterior) last March on a Ford lot. I knew nothing about the SE until doing a little research. Then I got excited. This was the first retro of any year I had seen for sale locally and it happens to be #78 of 1500. Needless to say, I bought it for her and we love the car. While we have no plans to sell it, our children may have a pretty valuable car some day.

Any opinions about when/if this car may start appreciating in value? It has 39K miles on it and we drive it about 500 miles per month. Near perfect condition.

I have to be honest, I really love the colors on that Pacific Coast cruiser. I think these were offered in low #'s in 2004 model year?

There about 9000 2005's made with 1500 in the cashmere color. We have put 5000 miles on it since we bought it it 15 months ago. It is a lot of fun to drive.
