Right turnsignal on

Post by 46Woodie »

I recently purchased a 63 hardtop. When I pull light switch out part way my right side turn signal comes on SOLID ,only the right side. Both indicators work correctly when needed but curious as to why indicator shows at intermediate position when light switch is pulled out.
Thanks

You have to be Hercules to install these parking lamp bulbs?? Never had bulbs so hard to push in before. Yes I know, line up slots and twist.

Remember that the dual filament bulbs will only fit one way. One pin is further towards the base than the other.

I expect there is a grounding issue in the lighting system. That will produce many different feedback loops and behavior.

EUREKA!! It was a bad ground in the parking/signal light assembly. Now parking and turn signal work excellent

My Dad use to say “it’s either the power or the ground.”
