Upper A frame bushings 1975

I replaced the upper A frame bushing on my 1965 four years age. The driver side is starting to make noise but when I when to pump in grease none would go in, seems like there is an air lock. This is on both sides of the car. Anyone have issues like this. I replaced the grease fitting but that did not help.

If you go to youtube search for "vintage thunderbird repair". Nick has a video from 2 years back (1961 66 thunderbird upper control arm shaft kit) which will tell you precisely why you can't get grease into it.
