1971 429 Headder job

I have a set of HEADMANN headders to put on a 71 429. The flange on the face are a 1/4 thick. Thay are LONG ones with a slip fit to the pipes. I have herd good and bad about them. Heat problems, fit problems, melted box problems, GASKET LEAK problems.

Anyone out there do it with sucess?

Anybody have a horror story?
