E-Brake Vacuum Switch Wiring

Post by JIMBEL »

I have all the books but none of them, that I can see anyway can show me how the E-Brake switch on the steering column is wired. I have looked until my neck hurt for the wires to connect it. I did find 2 cut blue wires hanging down that don't seem to belong to the car, so i connected them and the horn went off even though the horn works normally. Does anyone have even a hand drawn schematic that I could go by? Thanks in advance.

What kind of transmission was your car built with? 64-65 had MX, 66 has a blend of MX and C6 transmissions.

If it's on the column you should be looking for a rubber connector with 4 wires. See this link pic 4
