Is dexron vI transmission fluid a suitable substitute for dexron Iii?

If you mean Dextron IV then yes but our birds do not use Dextron transmission fluid

Dexron III was an acceptable substitute for Type A, the original type.

Many have used Type F with no problems, including myself.

I stand corrected about the Dextron, I to use the type F

Is anyone out there running Dextron?
