Cross post from 61-63 Thunderbird forum: Has anyone tried and have any feedback for ABSPowerBrake.com master cylinder for split system? It fits with existing power brake booster and under the brace. It is on page 100 of their online catalog or see pic below. Company said it would work on disc/drum or drum/drum.

I dont want to do disc conversion (I have 14" KH wheels) and am fine with drum for the limited driving I do... but like the dual reservoir/circuit for safety. Any feedback appreciated.

Just completed the conversion to a split circuit Master Cylinder for my '62 convertible with drums all around. Works great and allowed me to retain the T-Bird's original power brake booster and maintain the original "Jelly Jar" look of the Master Cylinder. I wanted to remain as close as possible to the OEM look. No modifications were required to the shock tower to firewall brace and there is plenty of clearance - great fit. Pricey, but I felt it was worth it.

I am going a different direction on my brake setup, & although your tower mounts & braces look good plated, I'm probably going another direction on those too. But your hood hinges look great! Mine are on a short list to get to a better looking status. What was your process? Media blast and paint or pay a company to clean & plate/coat with something? I'm afraid to disassemble, and weary of media blasting without disassembly.

Hinges were gold cadmium plated. Work was done by Santa Ana Plating in Santa Ana California.

They will work but don't really look right.
