1965 Radio noise suppression condenser.

Post by wayne63011 »

The connection wire to my radio noise suppression condenser (mounted on the alternator) broke off. Has anyone ever successfully repaired one of these? If not, does anyone know the part number? Or better yet, does anyone know where I can find a replacement?

Many thanks for the quick replies!!
It sounds like the one Bob suggested is the one that's most likely an exact replacement for the one that is currently broken on my '65 alternator.

Get both, as the original regulator capacitor is most probably worthless 50 years later.

This post, gave me rise to check mine. They both appear to be dead as the readings are all over the map. By chance, what would be the correct "uF" capacitance, Just so I can verify?
Thanks all
