The Thunderbird Connection

Post by billkexel »

I believe that the Thunderbird Connection is out of business.

I live in Phoenix, AZ & have used then many times in the past. Their location at 728 E. Dunlap in Phoenix is empty & all the signs are gone. If they are still in business, not sure where? Their website still lists them at that location, but that's not correct.

If they are still in business, does anyone know where?

Have you tried calling or email? Maybe they just relocated?

I called & they say they are still there.
I'm guessing that they must be in the back area?...their signs are down and the front area is all vacant.

Maybe they count on internet traffic only, because a person driving by would never find it.

I live in the East Valley, so I am going to try to find this place too. If they have half the stuff they list on their website, I could go nuts in there.

Noticed they also go by the name Dottling. Maybe that's on their sign?

I was wrong. They are still there.
Upon closer inspection, they are there, but the front of their facilty looks empty. They need some lettering or signage on their windows to make it look less vacant. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=728+e+du ... CAgQ_AUoAg

Glad to see they are still there. I have spent lots of $$ there in the past, and probably will still continue to do so. Yes, they have a nice inventory. It helps when they are local and you need it now.

I went by there today after calling this morning. The sign on E Dunlap is very old and easy to miss, but its there. Went to the front door, the place was dark, there was an old Falcon in the front area and some cars under restoration (I guess) behind the gate, but nobody around at 2PM.

Nice day for a drive...but I would have spent money there if they were open.
