1968 LED tail light conversion

Post by motley1987 »

Macs Auto has an LED conversion kit that says will fit a 68. Has anyone tried this kit before? They say that there's a flasher module under the dash but it looks nothing like the flasher relay that's under there so I wanted to see if anyone has tried it out before I buy one. Thanks.

I replaced my old bulbs with LED ones off amazon. Worked beautifully. No need for load resistor. Just remove the old bulbs and install the new ones. Here's the link to the ones I used.

Thanks for the info! They still flash at the right speed? I went to LED in my 69 Cougar and had to change a flasher under the dash, so it'll be nice of this works with just a bulb swap. Thanks again!

Are the LEDS brighter than the stock lights? No one can agree on amazon, so I figured you'd have a more accurate opinion since they'll be in the same car as mine. Thanks.
