Replacing 64 ammeter with 66

Replacing 64 ammeter with 66

Hey guys...my 64 ammeter makes me nervous... i have a 66 one i want to replace it with...where would i splice it into the circuit and with the old one do i just join the in and out cables together to continue the circuit( and make safe of course)...many thanks for any help
