Found this little guy hiding under the dash...

PO had done some funny things with the wiring and Im to sort it out

That's the windshield washer pump switch. Belongs attached by a clip to the handle next to the wiper handle.

Second that. Pull down the small convenience console by removing four screws. You will see the area it needs to be attached to right right near the wiper switch. This switch you will remount activates the winshield washer. Hope this helps.

Good to know, my washer seems to be stuck "on" all the time, I had to disconnect it in the engine compartment.

Thats the way it works: plunger extended= washer motor on. When you push the chrome handle forward, the plunger is depressed= washer motor off
