Long Term Storage Services...

Post by Jay »

I am faced with the possibility of moving to China for a few years and want to know if anyone has any ideas on where to find a place to stash my 62 SR while away. I would prefer not to sell it, I love it too much, and I believe these things are going to increase in value.

Are there outfits that do this kind of thing (and do it right)? If so, where. I live in Philadelphia, but I suppose it doesn't matter where it goes as long as it is kept properly.

The weather here was perfect today - about 75 - and I had it out for the first time this year. Good to be back on the road! It's going back down to the 20's later this week, so that was a nice break.

Just a thought but something to consider: Would a local car museum be as happy to display it as you would to get discounted storage fees if any fees at all?

That thought crossed my mind. I need to check into that. I am hoping to find a way to put it on blocks, do all the engine and interior preservative stuff and cover it up, but a museum might be a good alternative.

Thanks,
Jay
