took it to the NMRA/NMCA Superbowl of Street Legal Drag racing at RT66 Dragway in Joliet IL and here are the results...

bold is new best, here are the slips:

dial ----------------------------------------------------- 12.40
r/t --------- .951 ------ .837 -------- 2.339 -------- .926
60' ------- 1.853 ----- 1.921 ------- 1.639 -------- 1.662
330 ------ 5.741 ----- 5.755 ------- 5.045 -------- 5.048
1/8 ------- 9.168 ----- 8.932 ------- 7.855 ------- 7.860
mph ------ 70.65 ----- 76.00 ------- 87.15 ------- 87.18
1000 ---- 12.097 ---- 11.715 ----- 10.304 ------ 10.302
1/4 ------ 14.525 ---- 14.072 ----- 12.503 ------ 12.410
mph ------ 92.10 ----- 91.81 ------- 92.59 ------- 103.95

so far the best 1/4 mile time is the 12.410 but ive gone as fast as 107.61 so im a few mph down but i think it will come back with some tuning and seat time. For the most part I havent driven let alone raced this car in like 5 years. I need alot of practice and hope to get it back out to the track again soon. I was going to head out today but im having some charging issues, and it looked like it was going to rain, then it did. so im glad i didnt go out there.

From the photos it looks like you're getting a good hook up, and in most cases pretty straight... good wrinkle on the rears ans slight steering input.

Enjoyed the pics... would be cool to see in person.

Cheers... Brian

we keep about 15 pounds in the rear tires. this was the first time out and after seeing these pics, we are going to go testing and mess with air pressure in the slicks. we started at 15 to keep the car a little more sturdy at the top end. being a new combo i didnt want to deal with the swaying that you get with low pressure in the tires at higher speeds.
we also need to add some air to the airbags in the rear, i think if we put more air in them it wont squat as bad and possibly pull the front tires up some.

Are you running those custom coil-overs in the front? Looks like it's pulling up pretty good. Congrats on the times and getting the beast back on the road / track!

Yep got the coilovers on it last winter and it launches good. I'm happy with the way it launches right now. I have them set on one gonna mess with it some day and see exactly what it likes.

well took the car to the track again this past weekend. and ran it 3 times first pass was N/A the other 2 were n2o passes. both n2o passes just before the 1/8 mile i had a n2o backfire. the first time it just blew the intake tube off the tb, the maf off the other end, the iat sensor was blown out and the 2 hoses that go in the middle were poped out. put it all back together and lined it back up to see what it would do. this time it was a little more violent of a backfire, blew off everything off the intake tube again, and started the air filter on fire and burned up some of the underhood insulation and some other stuff. wasnt fun. not sure exactly what is up with it, i think when i shifted into third the rpm dropped to much and it loaded up with fuel and it ignited.

but it ran the best 60' and 330' that i have ever run on that last pass. went 1.615 and 4.966 somewhere between the 330 and 1/8th it blew up. im going to rewire the new digital window switch that i have so that i can bump up the low rpm setting higher then 3k so if it does drop that far it will stop the n2o at low rpm's.
